Every Blogger’s Nightmare (I’m Assuming)
There is a moment that almost every blogger will have to go through and I myself recently had to go through this painful experience. Just as I was finishing off the final words of my masterpiece my laptop decides that it would be fun to refresh and POOF, my blog, my last three hours were gone. Just like that, my mum heard my curse and jumped in surprise, she asked me what had happened as I beat the machine as hard as I dared – because despite my anger I can’t quite afford to lose another computer in such a short space of time. I was so angry that I punctuated each blow with “THAT. STUPID. CRUEL. BLASTED. MACHINE. KILLED. MY. ARGGHHHHH.” *tears out hair* and my mum, who managed to establish what was causing my temper, rushed to my aid, suggesting that we could “press the back button” but alas, I was disappointed once more, as I was presented with my previous blog (First Blog).
The last thing I wanted to do was re-write my blog all over again, because I knew that it would never be as good as the first. So, I am sorry to say this, no one is more sorry than I am, because I am the only one who knows what brilliance you are missing out on – Yes, it was that good! Perhaps you will get lucky and in a few months, if my wounds begin to heal, I maybe able to bring myself to face writing this blog once more.
You may read this and think that i am over re-acting, but I am/was still basking in the happy glow of being a new blogger and could not see anything negative to do with blogging, but now, now I consider myself a true blogger because I have now experienced what I can only imagine to be the ultimate blow. I might still be giving the impression that I am over-reacting, but I am grieving over a loss and so I feel that that gives me a fairly sufficient excuse.
OK. That’s me done, rant over.
